‘Positive movement’ on India-Kazakhstan Uranium deal for higher imports

Kazakhstan's Ambassador to India, Bulat Sergazyuly Sarsenbayev, confirms that the two nations are in talks to ink a deal for Uranium supply which would see an increased amount of the nuclear fuel being supplied to India's reactors. In a conversation with Hindustan Times' Foreign Editor Rezaul H. Laskar, the Kazakhstani envoy said that there had been 'positive movement' on talks between the two sides. Kazakhstan is reportedly the largest producer of Uranium in the world and supplies a lion's share of the nuclear fuel to India. Watch the full video for more.
