Rahul Gandhi says he can become the prime minister in 2019, if the Congress emerges as the biggest party in the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress president said this in Karnataka on May 8 when asked if he could be the next PM. Later addressing the media in the poll-bound southern state, Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party - BJP - on various issues including the choice of candidates, loan waivers to farmers and the Rafale deal.
