Railway Minister Piyush Goyal immerses mother’s ashes in Maharashtra’s Nashik

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal immersed his mother's ashes in Ramkund of Godavari river on June 8. The Union Railway Minister had shared the news of his mother's demise on Twitter. In a tweet, Goyal said that his mother had dedicated her entire life towards the service of people and inspired others to do the same. Chandrakanta Goyal breathed her last on June 5 due to old age. Chandrakanta Goyal was a corporator in Mumbai for one term after the Emergency. Later, she represented BJP from Mumbai's Matunga Assembly constituency for three terms.
