RIP Arun Jaitley: Former finance minister and BJP stalwart dies at 66

BJP stalwart and former finance minister Arun Jaitley is no more. The 66-year-old leader died at Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Saturday afternoon. Arun Jaitley was admitted into AIIMS' intensive care unit (ICU) several days ago after he complained of uneasiness. He was put on life-support system after his condition deteriorated. Jaitley has had a history of medical conditions, including diabetes and kidney failure. He opted out of the Modi government 2.0 citing health issues, depriving the administration of a man known for his versatility, intelligence, and brilliant communication skills.
