‘I’ve been called the worst FM’: Sitharaman responds to criticism in Lok Sabha

FM Nirmala Sitharaman responded to Cong-led attacks on economy in the Parliament during the Lok Sabha session. The minister said that they are a government that listened to criticism. Sitharaman suggested the government was all for industry leaders speaking out. She responded to digs from opposition over industrialist Rahul Bajaj's recent statement. She said, “If there is a government, Prime Minister and ministers who have been constantly pilloried, it is this.” The minister also said that she had been called the “worst finance minister” before she could complete even six months and had been called names even in Parliament.
