Russia has signalled that the door to fresh talks with Donald Trump remains open, as Sergey Lavrov revealed new details about Moscow’s exchanges with Washington. Lavrov said Putin would receive U.S. envoys again, but questioned what they would bring to the negotiating table. He also claimed Putin had accepted proposals Trump previously sent through Steve Witkoff, including areas requiring compromise. But tensions remain high, with Moscow demanding answers over alleged U.S. involvement in Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russia.
