Thick smog engulfs NCR, air quality in ‘Hazardous’ category

Thick and toxic smog engulfs the National Capital Region (NCR) as air quality dips to 'Hazardous' category. Air Quality Index (AQI) in Lodhi Road displayed PM 2.5 at 456 & PM 10 at 287 at 6.11 am. At 11 am, AQI in New Delhi US Embassy displayed PM 2.5 at 536. AQI in Ghaziabad's Vasundhara was recorded at 455. Gurugram and Noida have also been engulfed in a blanket of smog.
