Srinagar’s Dal Lake freezes after Kashmir records coldest night in 11 years

Cold waves intensified in Jammu and Kashmir and as a result, the Dal Lake in Srinagar partially froze on Tuesday. Recently, Srinagar had recorded the coldest night in 11 years with the temperature dropping till minus 6.8C on Monday. Dal is the second largest lake in Jammu and Kashmir and is also an integral part of tourism in the state.
