Tackling mob lynchings is a state subject: Union Minister Rajnath Singh

Commenting on the rising mob lynchings in the country, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that 'law and order is a state subject'. He further added that “the central government can maximum send advisory to the states and request them to take strict action against the culprits. And this is what we have been doing”. Union minister Rajnath Singh was speaking at the 2018 Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi on Friday.
