Tax system deterring investment, alleges Congress MP Shashi Tharoor

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor criticised the Union Budget for the second term of Narendra Modi government. He said that the businessmen are reluctant to invest in India and it is mainly because of the government's tax system. The Union Budget was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who proposed many changes in income tax provisions for this year but kept income tax slab rates unchanged.
