The killing of Mohd Ikhlaq: Revisiting Dadri #LetsTalkAboutHate

In September 2015, Mohd Ikhlaq was mob lynched on the suspicion of slaughtering a cow in a village called Bisada in Dadri. The incident caused an uproar and the term 'mob lynching' was introduced into mainstream conversation. The trial of the case is yet to begin. A few days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a speech that killing people in the name of 'gau-raksha' is unacceptable.
