UN Security Council closed door meet on Kashmir: What it means for India

The United Nations Security Council is set to hold closed door consultations over the Kashmir issue. The meting comes at the insistence of China, an all-weather ally of Pakistan. Pakistan has sought to internationalise the Kashmir issue even as India says it is an an internal matter. The closed door meet comes in the backdrop of India abrogating Article 370 in Kashmir.
