Watch: Bus rides through flooded bridge endangering 40 lives

A driver in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh drove a crowded bus across a flooded bridge, despite the alarmed raised by those onboard. The bus had 40 passengers on it and many of them asked the driver to take an alternate route when they saw that river Kolva had flooded a bridge. Still, the driver went ahead driver and chose to wade through the dangerous road. An eyewitness Deepak Joshi said, “Many passengers were shouting in fear as the bus rolled on slowly. If the current was any stronger, the bus would have been washed away.” Senior district police officials have taken note of the incident and ordered action against the driver for endangering passenger safety
