Huge crowd came out to the streets to have a last glimpse of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa when her mortal remains were being taken to the Marina Beach for a burial at MGR Memorial. Jayalalithaa breathed her last at 11:30 pm on Monday. The state government has declared seven-day mourning. She has been accorded state funeral and will be honoured with gun salutes at the time of burial. The national flag at all government buildings are flying at half mast.
