Most parts of Jammu and Kashmir are seeing heavy rain and snow. The Valley is covered with a thick layer of snow. During otherwise mild winters, this was a much-needed weather change, all thanks to the Western disturbances. This spell is likely to reduce but another active Western Disturbance is nearing which is going to be stronger and will intensify of rain and snow.
