Watch: Made-in-India Akash missile cleared for export; Rajnath says $5 bn target

The Union Cabinet gave its assent to the export of the indigenous Akash missile system on December 30. The Akash surface-to-air missile has a range of 25 km. The Cabinet also decided to create a committee for faster approvals. Commenting on the development, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that India's defence manufacturing capability was growing under the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' push. He said that the government aims to achieve a target of $5 billion in defence export. Watch the full video for more.
