Watch: Made-in-India Astra missile successfully tested from Sukhoi 30MKI jet

The Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully tested an air-to-air missile, named Astra. The test was conducted off the coast of Odisha, in the Bay of Bengal, using Sukhoi Su-30MKI aircraft. DRDO said that the test demonstrated the capability of India's first indigenous air-to-air missile. The test came just days after an indigenous Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile had been tested by the organisation. The missile had been tested in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool.
