Watch: NSA Ajit Doval on terror financing watchdog FATF lens on Pakistan
Updated on Mar 04, 2020 04:59 pm IST
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval commented on the proceedings against Pakistan initiated by the Financial Action Task Force. He said that 'one of the biggest pressures' exerted on Islamabad was through FATF. It is a global terror financing watchdog, which has placed Pakistan on its 'grey list'. A review of Pakistan's status is expected soon, and a blacklisting could be possible if Islamabad hasn't complied with the FATF's requirements. Blacklisting could entail economic sanctions.
