Watch: PM Modi’s message to anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protestors

After violence during protests against the Anti-Citizenship Amendment Act, Prime Minister Modi has now released a statement on twitter calling the violence deeply distressing. He said that while discussion and dissent are essential parts of democracy, violence and destruction of public property is unacceptable. The Prime Minister's statement comes after violence erupted in the capital & in Aligarh during protests against the contentious act.
