‘What will a Hindu born in USA be called?’: Digvijaya Singh’s jibe at RSS
Updated on Mar 17, 2020 10:48 pm IST
Congress leader Digvijaya Singh took a swipe at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Singh questioned the organisation over its definition of 'Hindus'. The Congress leader said that RSS calls anyone born in India a Hindu. Then what would Hindus born in other countries be called, he wondered. He also invoked the RSS' 'contradictory statements' on the system of reservation. RSS Sarsanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat, on multiple occasions, has said that his organisation considers all Indians as 'Hindus', irrespective of language, religion etc.
