Good news for many Hindu pilgrims: the Modi government is planning to open a corridor in Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK) for the ancient Sharda Peeth temple. The centre's plan is based on the lines of the Kartarpur corridor in Punjab. Sharda Peeth Corridor, if established, will be the second religious passage after Kartarpur Corridor in Pak-controlled territory that will connect the two nations.
