India Rejects PoJK Polls, Calls Them a Bid to Mask Pakistan's 'Illegal Occupation'

India rejected the so-called legislative assembly elections in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), reiterating that the entire Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, including areas under Pakistan's control, are integral parts of India. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal described the polls as a "cosmetic exercise" and alleged they were aimed at masking Pakistan's illegal occupation and human rights violations.
