India has reiterated that its position on the Indus Waters Treaty remains unchanged, linking any future restoration of the agreement to an end to cross-border terrorism. New Delhi maintains the treaty remains in abeyance following the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, while Islamabad continues urging its revival. Is the decades-old water-sharing pact now becoming another major flashpoint between the two nuclear-armed neighbours?
