600-yr-old Jhargram temple loses devotees out of Maoist fear

With increasing Maoist fear,visitors have now stopped going to a 600-year-old temple in Jhargram region of West Bengal.Although security forces have been successful in overcoming the Maoist threat in many regions,fear still prevails,causing a distinct dip in visitors to the temple of Hindu goddess Durga.Local shop owners are upset since the low turnout has severely affected their business.
