Breaking its silence on the arrest of A. Raja who was held by CBI yesterday in the 2G-spectrum scam, DMK backed him saying that he can't be held guilty just because he is undergoing the trial in the case. The DMK general council met in Chennai today and passed a resolution to back Raja and the party alleged that he was unnecessarily targeted. However though the party supported him, Raja resigned from the party's post of propaganda secretary when the DMK meet was midway.
