Action against Ramdev blot on democracy: Anna

Social activist Anna Hazare said the police crackdown on yoga guru Baba Ramdev and his supporters is a blot on democracy. Terming the action as strangulation of democracy, Hazare told the mediapersons at New Delhi airport on Sunday, that there was nothing wrong with protests as they strengthen the democracy.Hazare added he would consult with other civil society activists about the future course of action and would launch protests throughout the country to teach government a lesson.
