Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee, while interacting with the mediapersons on Tuesday on board the aircraft enroute to Hanoi in Vietnam where he is to take part in the meeting of the Governors of Asian Development Bank, expressed that the factors of energy crisis, prices of commodities and food security are the major challenges to be tackled by the developing countries in Asia and even elsewhere in the world. He asserted that in addition to the 65 percent of the population of the developing countries, 56 percent of the total world population would be making Asia their home by 2050.
