Agnivesh calls for probe in C’garh’s Maoist gunbattle

Social activist and Maoist sympathiser, Swami Agnivesh, today called for a judicial probe into incidences of violence and counter violence between security forces and rebels in Chhattisgarh after latest exchange of fire. Meanwhile a pro-Maoist activist, Varvara Rao, questioned the truth of the gun battle. Another Maoist sympathiser, G. Hargopal, said the development model of the government should be pro-poor and pro-tribal so that loss of human life could be averted
