Ajit offers to end impasse with striking pilots

In another effort to end the impasse with Air India pilots, civil aviation minister Ajit Singh on Saturday said that the government had invited them for another round of discussions, while assuring them of non-victimisation. Singh was speaking to mediapersons in Lucknow after inaugurating the new integrated terminal at the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport. Meanwhile, Passengers continue to face the brunt of the strike as it entered its twelfth day, resulting in the cancellation of several flights.
