All telecom policies will be sorted out by August: Sibal
Updated on May 05, 2011 09:43 pm IST
Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal promised on Thursday that all policies pertaining to the sector would be 'sorted out' and settled by August 2011 after due discussions. The assurance comes even as probe agencies investigating the multi-billion dollar 2G telecom spectrum allocation scam tightened the noose around several political leaders, executives and industrialists. The Telecom Minister added his prime focus was to formulate a non-discriminatory policy framework that would provide a level ground to operators.
