Almond growers in Kashmir ready to hit markets

With the almond harvesting in its final stages in Kashmir, growers are gearing up to hit the local market. Known for their superiority of taste, Kashmir almonds are categorized on the basis of their shell thickness as papery, thin-shelled or thick-shelled. With a comparatively good weather this season, the growers in Werwan village are hoping for a better return.
