Amarnath Yatra begins

It was a divine moment for thousands of pilgrims who set out on the most auspicious journey to the revered Amarnath cave. The first batch of pilgrims comprising 2500 people including 300 Sadhus set out from the Jammu base camp amidst tight security on Tuesday morning. State police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel are escorting the pilgrims to Pahalgam and Baltal base camps.
