Anand Sharma slams BJP over FDI
Updated on Nov 21, 2012 01:21 pm IST
Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of passing unfair comments and suffering from a selective loss of memory with regard to the issue of allowing FDI in the multi-brand retail sector, Union Trade Minister Anand Sharma, said that he was really surprised by the BJP's contention that the central government had not tabled notifications related to FDI in parliament. The DMK, a key UPA ally had indicated that they would not back the government's FDI decision. Commenting on that, Sharma said that the government would make all efforts possible to convince the DMK on the issue.
