Frantic rescue and salvage operations continued on Tuesday, a day after at least 103 people drowned and over 100 went missing, when an overloaded ferry carrying about 300 passengers capsized in Brahmaputra River in the Dhubri district of Assam. Hundreds of people gathered on the banks of the Brahmaputra for information about their family members missing in the ferry capsize, as rescuers braving torrential rain searched the river for survivors.
