At 96, age not an issue for Mann Kaur

A 96-year old veteran athlete from Chandigarh, Mann Kaur is all set to participate in the Delhi Half Marathon, which is scheduled for the weekend. Speaking to media persons Kaur said that it was due to God's grace that she was able to participate in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Another athlete and her companion, Ravinder Singh said that she has already set an example for the youth and would further boost their confidence. Recently, after undergoing rigorous training, Kaur won a gold medal each in the 100 and 200-meter in the World Masters Athletic Championship in Sacramento, the US.
