Azad inaugurates international conference on 'community mental health'

Health and Family Welfare Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday inaugurated international conference cum workshop on 'Asia Pacific Community Mental Health' at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) in New Delhi. The theme of the conference is 'Building partnership for Community Mental Health Development'. Azad while addressing the conference said that the country needed to work on development programmes for the mentally ill patients in India.
