Azam Khan steps down as Kumbh Mela in-charge

Uttar Pradesh urban development minister Azam Khan on Monday stepped down as the in-charge of Maha Kumbh Mela organising committee, following the Allahabad railway station stampede, which killed at least 36 people. Khan has hereby taken moral responsibility for the tragedy.
