BCCI bigwigs meet IPL franchisee teams

A day before the much-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) governing council meet, IPL franchisee teams met representatives from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai on Thursday. BCCI bigwigs discussed a spectrum of issues with the team owners and management of the IPL, pertaining to the future functioning of the league. IPL boss Lalit Modi's suspension,corruption in IPL and agreements on foreign players in the game were among the several issues discussed in the meeting, media reports suggested.
