Bhopal gas survivors seek justice from Obama

Seeking justice for their plight,Bhopal victims have now pinned hopes on US President Barack Obama,for justice.They have appealed to Obama,who is due to visit India this week, that the American company Dow Chemicals,which was owner of the Gas plant,must take full responsibility for the industrial disaster.Reportedly,the organisations working for the gas tragedy victims have written a letter to Obama urging him to extradite the U.S citizen Warren Anderson, main accused in the case to India and treat Dow at par with British Petroleum which he made pay the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history, securing a compensation fund of doller20 billion for the victims of the Gulf Oil Spill.
