BJP fears getting exposed: PMO on Coalgate debate

Updated on Aug 25, 2012 01:29 pm IST

Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office V Narayanasamy has alleged that the BJP was evading discussion on the floor of the house and was not allowing the smooth running of the Parliament because of the fear of being exposed. Interacting with mediapersons in Chennai, Narayanasamy said that BJP is currently on the back foot as all other parties are pressing for debate in the house. Narayanasamy also said CAG's report is absolutely incorrect. Reacting on the Supreme Court's verdict on the telecom scam, Narayanasamy said Finance Minister P Chidambaram has no role in the auctioning of 2G spectrums and there is no criminality or culpability against him.
