BJP slams Rahul Gandhi's farmers' rally as political gimmick

BJP President Nitin Gadkari slammed Rahul Gandhi, for his sponsored mass rally of farmers in Aligarh. He termed the rally as a political gimmick. While interacting with media persons in New Delhi on Saturday, he said Gandhi should first look into the policies of Congress led central government. The 'Mahapanchayat' was the conclusion of the five days 'Pad Yatra' undertaken by Gandhi across different villages of Uttar Pradesh, where he interacted with farmers and heard their woes.Meanwhile slamming the central government over price rise, BJP Spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain, said the government is finding out new ways to raise the prices of basic commodities.
