Cabinet approves passing of federal investigating agency

India's cabinet on Monday gave its approval for the setting up of national investigating agency. The cabinet also approved amendments in the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act of 1967 and Central Industrial Security Force Act. Meanwhile, chief minister of Madhya Pradesh appealed the central government to give its approval to the state to pass stern security laws.
