Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Friday said that the government should not repeat the mistake of 1962 by taking the incursion of Chinese troops lightly. Swaraj, while addressing a press conference in Bangalore, recalled the 1962 Indo-Sino war, which started with Chinese soldiers gradually moving into India's territory. Union defence minister AK Antony has said that negotiations are going on at various levels to find out a peaceful solution.
