Cong defends govt's 'game changer' cash transfer scheme

Giving itself a strong pat of self-appreciation on the back, the Congress on Wednesday defended the ambitious direct cash transfer scheme, to be launched across the country, from January 01 in 2013. MoS for information and broadcasting, Manish Tewari, while addressing the media in New Delhi on Wednesday said that the 'game changer' scheme was for the common people, and in accordance with the law.
