Congress snubs paltry offer of seat by an old ally

Ruling Congress party on Thursday said it was deeply hurt by the deal cut out by its old ally, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to offer only 3 out of 40 parliamentary seats in Bihar. On Tuesday the RJD and another regional ally, Lok Janshakti Party announced a pact with RJD getting 25 seats and LJP 12.
