Curfew relaxation in Kashmir brings relief to locals

Peace prevailed after curfew was relaxed in Srinagar today. People came out on the roads to stock their daily needs as restrictions by the army were also eased. The situation remained peaceful with no security restrictions imposed throughout the city. Meanwhile, elated over the curfew relaxation, a local, Mohammad Salim Bhatt said locals have had a sigh of relief due to withdrawal of curfew after four days. Curfew has been lifted from all five police stations of the city following which people were seen resuming to their normal routine. Beaming shopkeepers and street vendors were seen reopening their shops much to relief of the locals, who could venture out due to curfew restrictions.
