Dalai Lama says EU must stand firm on China

The Dalai Lama, said on Wednesday that the best way to help human rights in China is to maintain a frank approach. He urged Europeans not to repeat the appeasement of the Nazis in the 1930s. The Tibetan spiritual leader is on a European tour. The tour will see him address the European Parliament in Brussels on Thursday and hold talks with French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Poland on Saturday.
