Demand for conservation of historical water sources

With the city of Gwalior reeling under the problem of water scarcity, locals have suggested a way to solve the problem. They have voiced concern over the neglect of historical water bodies and have demanded their restoration. Gwalior, boasts of ancient water reservoirs that used to meet the water needs of the locals. But over the time they have been neglected leading to pollution of water bodies.
