Demand for JPC continues to stall Parliament

With leader of House in Lok Sabha Pranab Mukherjee admitting yesterday that he does not know as to how to end impasse in Parliament, situation was no different today, as the standoff in both the houses continued for 11th consecutive day. No sooner than the tribute was paid to the victims of Mumbai 26/11 attacks, agitating opposition members started creating uproarious scenes, following which the parliament was ultimately adjourned for the day. Shouting slogans, MPs gathered in the well of the Lok Sabha following which the it was adjourned till noon. However, when it reassembled, scenes were no different and consequently, the speaker Meira Kumar adjourned it for the day.
