Developmental work resumes in Maoist infested Lalgarh

In a bid to curb Maoist menace, West Bengal government has allowed to resume the developmental projects in the areas dominated by Maoists despite their penetration into many rural pockets. The developmental work initiated by the state development authority in Lalgarh area of Midnapore district of West Bengal is in full swing with the health sector, education sector taking the top position in the priority list. While interacting to mediapersons, a villager Amit Adak hailed the developmental work by the government. Expressing happiness, worker Lakhan Mahato said that the government's initiative has led to generate employment in the area.
